BIIAB NATIONAL CERTIFICATE FOR PERSONAL LICENCE HOLDERS
Who needs this qualification?

Under the Licensing Act 2003, anyone authorizing the retail sale of alcohol will have to hold a Personal Licence, and in order for a person to qualify for one, he or she must hold a relevant licensing qualification, and the BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders is such a qualification. It is both QCA accredited and Government approved and has been specifically designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing Act 2003.

This qualification is relevant to anyone authorizing the retail sale of alcohol in Pubic Houses, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Supermarkets, Nightclubs, Off-Licenses, Casinos, Social and Sports Clubs, Leisure/Theme Parks, and in fact any Entertainment Establishment or other venue where alcohol is sold.

When successfully achieved along with the BIIAB Level 2 Introduction to Licensed Retail Operations, the candidate is automatically awarded the Level 2 National Certificate in Licensed Retailing.

Course Information

Duration: One day programme plus pre-course self study reading of supplied course handbook.
Assessment: Multiple-choice examination
Certification: This course is certificated by BIIAB
Prerequisite: Delegates must be able to provide satisfactory evidence to fulfill the mandatory identification requirements.
