BIIAB NATIONAL CERTIFICATE FOR DESIGNATED PREMISES SUPERVISOR
Who needs this qualification?

This qualification has been developed to support the new position of Designated Premises Supervisor that has been created by the Licensing Act 2003. It is designed to provide both existing Designated Premises Supervisors and those wishing to undertake this position in the future, working in any type of licensed premises. Candidates should have completed the BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders or possess equivalent knowledge prior to taking this qualification.

  • The Requirements of Legislation and Best Practice in the 4 Licensing Objectives:
    1. Prevention of Crime & Disorder
    2. Prevention of Public Nuisance
    3. Public Safety
    4. Protection of Children from Harm

Course Information

Duration: One day programme plus pre-course self study reading a supplied course handbook.
Assessment: Multiple-choice examination
Certification: This course is certificated by BIIAB
Prerequisite: Candidates should have completed the BIIAB National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders or possess equivalent knowledge prior to taking this qualification. It is very strongly recommended that candidates read the supplied course handbook prior to the course.
